Me myself and I

Processed with VSCO with b1 preset

In my twenties, a bit of a foodie, and addicted to Ashtanga yoga, you can spot me at 6am doing my Sun Salutations in front of two unimpressed dogs before gulfing down a huge French breakfast.

On my days off, you can find me with a book in hand or binge-watching TV shows, from old Buffy the Vampire Slayer reruns to Doctor Who weekends, with lots of criminal shows in between. I also enjoy walking, especially in the rain, or turning my car into a karaoke stage. I prefer quiet and fun nights at the pub with friends than hitting the dance floor. I took up running in 2020 and I regret nothing! I like fruits but I have divorced many vegetables. I can’t help talking about food apparently. Mental health is a topic close to my heart and I wish the shame attached to it would be crushed under a giant cake.

I have been a book-eater for as long as I can remember. I launched my blog Chocolate’n’Waffles in January 2016 to interact with other readers and spread the book love. This move spurred a change in career and I graduated from university with a degree in Publishing. Social-media addict, I enjoy talking, sharing, and meeting new people.
