I am almost thanking my health issues for helping me read so much in the past week. “Almost” only because it allowed me to read, but I could not gather enough energy to write reviews, which means I need to clear the backlog again. Still, 4 books in a week is a record for me!

～ The Maze Runner, James Dashner

Why so much hate about this book? Expect praise for the book and a big rant on the movie once I am done struggling with the review!

～ Fearless Fourteen, Janet Evanovich

I happily announce this book did not disappoint me. Surprised me? Yes. Definitely. Okay, it was not difficult because I did not know what to expect, but still, making a girl like me enjoy anything related to fairy-tales is an exploit. It even inspired me for my previous post. The review is on its way.

This was absolutely not on my schedule. I was checking my twitter feed when a tweet appeared to let people know the book was available on NetGalley. I liked the title. I read it in one sitting. I am happy I did it. I was much less happy when I realized the book was the first in a series. I will remember to check this next time I pick something on the spur of the moment.

Psychological thrillers are among my favorite genres so I am very excited to start The Sister today. Read that blurb and tell me you are not curious!

Black Widow was not supposed to be read so early, but a comment by Linda @ crimeworm.wordpress.com convinced me to bump it up to the top of my TBR list.
