Welcome to today’s Happy Friday! My remedy against feeling down is to make a list of all the good things in my life. It can be anything. Really, anything. The smallest gesture from a stranger can change your day, if you open your eyes. Now, I am a pessimistic and I need daily reminders to look for the bright side. Maybe you are too, or maybe the state of our world is weighing on you. In any case, here’s your shot at some happy things!
What made me happy this week?
- Flowers!
- Playing Monopoly.
- Discussing trends and reviews with an author.
- Because you miss my yoga news: I’m now able to do the Half-Lotus pose!!! (It sounds so weird!!!🤣) Seriously, it’s crazy difficult when standing on one leg!
- Wearing one of my superwoman outfits for a 2h walk on Sunday (I am in love with my Kilchester Irregular T-shirt)
- Reading more than the previous week.
- Treating my darling mom to beauty products. It feels great to take care of the most important person in my life.
- Witnessing someone I admire launch her debut novel.
- Being crowned the queen of vacuum cleaning 😂
- Getting through the week.
- Chatting to my blogging friends. You guys have no idea how happy it makes me.

Love this post so much.
You have reminded me it’s the little things that are important, especially as I have had a very challenging week…
Things that made me happy are
Getting into my garden and planting some vegetables.
Listening to the birds singing while I write this.
Managing to finish decorating and organising my office/craft room.
Laughing with my husband about something really silly that happened, neither of us can actually remember what it was.
Reading your post, it made me feel happy for you 😘 😘

I’m sorry this week’s been challenging. I’m sending you hugs. I know this week was special to me as it was a difficult one, so writing this helped me focus on the brighter side of things.
I wish I had a garden, but I am terrible at gardening, I just want my dogs to be able to run free!
Laugh is the best medicine ❤ Thank you so much for sharing! I wish you a relaxing weekend ❤

😀 Thanks! I have stopped keeping my favourite clothes in the closet until ‘the right day’ comes up. It’s a simple look but I love every piece!
This pose is really good for hip-opening! Not comfy enough to see relief in my lower back yet, haha!

OMG you can do that pose, damn girl! Love your pic with your superwoman outfit, you still really rock that hat too! I’m trying to imagine it on my head but it’s just nah, it would look weird ;-). I had a better week… I talked a lot to a new and sweet blog friend, another amazing friend offered to make me a bookmark which makes me feel special and loved, I went out for lunch and it wasn’t as bad as I thought it was (I hate social gatherings but couldn’t find a way to get out of it this time) and I chose pizza which means I’ll eat pizza twice this week :-). Have a great weekend doll!

Haha, I can! But the path is more important than the result! I’ve become so much stronger, physically and mentally, thanks to Ashtanga! Never though I would make it!!! I still look ridiculous doing most poses, though, haha!!
You’re gonna see the hat in most pictures until winter 😀 I’m sure there’s a hat for you out there!
I’m glad this week treated you better than the last. Blog friends are so ❤ I'm lucky to have you! Seems you got love and pizza, the best things!! Have a fabulous weekend, gorgeous! xxx

A lovely post to make me smile on Friday. Congrats on your half lotus.
I haven’t played monopoly for years, but I used to enjoy it.
Things that made me happy this week.
1. A day out in Glasgow for pure me time. ( including a comfy seat in a coffee shop with my book and a hot chocolate).
2. Posting a blog post for the 1st time in a while.
3. Going to a book fair and buying lots of good reads for little money.
4. No alarm clock as it’s holiday time!
Great post Meggy. Thanks for brightening my day. xx
