It is time. Wrap-ups, recaps, the big self-questioning to see if you’ve made the best of 2016, list of achieved goals… I smell the end of the year and the assessment that comes with it.

December 23rd : Best Reads of 2016 – Tell us your top favorite books that you’ve read this year!
Making lists used to be easy and fun. That was before I attempted to sort out my favorite reads of the year. It is the “which kid is your favorite” of book bloggers. Keeping my favorite picks under ten was difficult, and it should have made me happy. It means I was blessed with fantastic books. Instead, I felt frustrated and kept rewriting the list for days. It’s a great distraction when you can’t sleep at 3 am. I finally succeeded, after ten cups of tea and some intense thinking. My brain hurts but here are the books I think should find a place in your TBR!
All pictures will lead you to the reviews if you need to be convinced! All pictures are from me, obviously, they are terrible!
There is no review for this one yet as I am preparing a big series VS movies review for 2017! No matter what I thought of the rest of the books, The Maze Runner is a favorite!
I recommend every one of these books for they have made me FEEL with a big F and all the others letters! I am sure they’ll look great under the tree for your family and friends 🙂
What books are on your 2016 top list? Tell me about your favorites and I might get them as a present to myself 😀
The ice twins is on my to read list for 2017. What a Wonderful post you did😊

Lovely list.. I haven’t read any of them, how awful ;-). I like your pictures and your attention to detail! Very much love the ring too there! I’ll post my Top 10 next week, but I think you won’t have read any of them either 😉

That makes more books to look forward to 😀 I had lots of fun digging into my old bookstagram pics and taking new ones for books who hadn’t gotten a shoot 🙂 I can’t wait to read your list!

I liked Furiously Happy very much myself , but I was told that this book was more hilarious that Allie Brosh’s Hyperbole and a half , which it sadly wasn’t . So some of the glam was taken off for me .
Apart from that I havent read a single book on this list , might start checking your reviews and putting a few on my TBR soon 🙂

I don’t know Allie Brosh’s book, I should check it out 🙂 Furiously Happy had such an impact on me I just had to put it at the top of the list. I hope you can find your next read in the list 🙂

I’ve heard of a lot of these 🙂 becoming really curious about the gift especially. Keep hearing about it.
Warp up posts are nice! I haven’t done one, but I did a book awards post last week, so that’s almost the same.
Also I liked how most of your pictures are of e-books! That always stops me from taking pictures. Go you!

The Gift is a brilliant piece of work, it was a perfect read for the end of the year 🙂
I like wrap-up posts because they help me keep track of everything, but they’re so time-consuming!
Haha, thank you! I feel the same, ebooks are not the best models for pictures but as I can only afford those for now I need to find ways to photograph the books 🙂

Ooh this is a fantastic list!! So many books on here I need to read (and so many I added to my tbr cos of you! 😉 ) I know what you mean about it being hard to make wrap ups for the end of the year- I’m still deciding!! So hard!

I won a free copy of The Summer That Melted Everything a few weeks back. I’m happy to see it make the top 5! I’m even more excited to read it now.
I remember your review for Furiously Happy. I had a feeling it would rank high in your top 10 of 2016. 🙂

One of THE MOST insane question to ask ANY bookworm. I mean, damn. I can’t put ANY order to my TOP favourite books of 2016. While picking 10 would probably be slightly easier for me cause… I haven’t read THAT many books, but the question remains blasphemous. 😛 Love your list though, While I recognize your top 3, there’s a couple of them that caught my attention and got me curious! Great list and hope 2017 has you struggling just as hard cause of all your soon-to-be favourites! 😀

We should ban questions about favorite authors and books, they’re impossible and one day they will make us explode! I read 76 books this year and I’m afraid to read as much or even more next year so I can already predict another day making lists and giving points and choosing at random to get a top 10 xD
