Suntag: Celebrating The Little Things

This has to be one of my favorite tags. There’s something in the air (or maybe on the news) that makes me want to spread the love. Thanks so much to Kat @ Life and Other Disasters for tagging me. I feel honored to be counted as one of her friends (*happy waffle dance*) I doubt you don’t already know her blog because it’s too good to miss, but in case a temporal paradox has prevented you from stumbling across her blog, go and check it right now!

I had my idea on this but I decided to check and it turns out I was right. Babus @ Ajoobacats Blog was my very first follower! She is in fact one of the first blogs I found when I was looking for books and her reviews inspired me to join the community. She is a lovely blogger with lots of awesome recommendations.

What was the last milestone you reached?

According to my notifications, I reached 600 followers this week!

*rereads. stares at the screen. rerereads. WHAAT? Goes to get a chocolate bar. rererereads. starts panicking. rerererereads. goes crazy.*

I thought it was a mistake and started counting every follower myself but I got lost, I’m terrible with numbers.

I can’t get my head around it. Of course, this number is all relative. I don’t talk regularly to 600 people. I am more attached to the growing handful of people I truly interact with every week, but it feels so good to see my blog become a teenager! I’m thankful to every crazy person who clicked the Follow button!

I’m not sure I want to remember! I was not very original and opted for a light introduction. You can find it here. I just reread it and died of horror when I noticed a terrible terrible mistake. But thanks to the edit button, you’ll never know what it was! It is fun to notice some things about the blog and about myself have already changed.

Funnily enough, my most recent follower is French! Hello Sabrina @ La Ronde de Livres. I have spotted posts both in English and in French on her blog, along with an impressive TBR!

My last post was a This Week In Books, my favorite posts. They’re handy to keep track of my books, easy to write and perfect to chat about current reads! I owe my first Wednesday like to Msletterwritingu. Thank you!

How many months have you been blogging for?

10 months and 13 days! I admit I am quite proud of this. I was so sure my interest in blogging would not last or I would run out of things to say, but I stuck with it and I am proud of my blog, with its flaws and its hits! To be honest, blogging takes up so much time that the entire year flew by and I only realized how long it had been when I wrote this tag.

I should have prepared a cake to celebrate…

I met some of the most brilliant human beings around here, and I am so happy to call them my friends. I’m bound to forget someone, and I am sorry! (This is the most difficult part!) Massive shout out to my bestie Jill of course, for her support, the middle-of-the-night messages, and a dozen other reasons, my favorite banana, my Sweechie, Inge,Kat who nominated me and made me very happy!, Annie who loves creepiness as much as I do, Anne who never fails to cheer me up with her comments and is one of the most adorable sausage ever, Diana, Danielle and Drew because he lets me call him Marshie.

But this list is incomplete and if we chat and your name isn’t on here, you can be sure I’m extremely grateful for you and our interactions!

Have you any social media related to your blog?

Yes ma’am! While I was at first wary about social media, I soon realized you can have lots of fun when you limit your interactions to people you share your interests. You can find me on Twitter @choconwaffles / Instagram even though pictures are not my best friends and it’s not getting better any time soon / Goodreads / Facebook where you’ll only find me if you wanna chat, because I don’t share anything on it!
